What I do
I edit fiction and non-fiction for readers of all ages. This may include:
- Manuscript assessment—providing unbiased feedback from someone other than your mother/husband/kids/best friend.
- Developmental (aka macro or substantive or content) editing—looking at the organization, logic, clarity, plot, setting, characterization of your work. The big picture.
- Stylistic or line editing—making your writing sing. Fine-tuning. Word by word.
What I don’t do
- Copyediting
- Proofreading
- Ghostwriting
- Chatting about your manuscript at 2 a.m.
